A 30-year journey advancing gender equality as a moral imperative — from grassroots communities to the United Nations stage. Women for Women by Women.
Our Origin
The Gender Priority Strategy (GEPS) is a pioneering global initiative born from the recognition that gender equality is not merely a matter of fairness, but a moral imperative and prerequisite for sustainable development and lasting peace. Building on the Beijing Declaration and Platform for Action, GEPS emerged from three decades of direct engagement with women at the grassroots level across continents.
We have witnessed firsthand the feminization of poverty, the silencing of women's voices, and the barriers that prevent women from reaching their full potential. GEPS was founded to bring order to these issues and to create systematic, evidence-based pathways to gender equality worldwide — standing in Solidarity, Strength, and Substance.
Who We Are
The core principles that guide every initiative, every partnership, and every step of our global advocacy.
The 30-Year Pledge
For 30 years, we have addressed gender issues confronting women across the world from the grassroots. Our girls and younger generations are becoming more disorganized every day, while our middle-aged women are increasingly self-introspective, and our older women are constantly in tears about the feminization of poverty. The time has come to bring order to our issues.
